Abu Bakar bin Ahmad (19/02/1925–04/06/2008) - A loving father to all his 10 children and a caring grandfather to all his countless grandchildren. The 10^th child out of 12 children has finally joined his first wife, Safiyah binti Adam, and a few of his other family members in the afterlife alongside god almighty.

The death of a family member is never easy. I should know since I just lost my grandfather on the 4^th of June 2008. The day started like any normal day, I woke up and my mom wanted to bring me to go and see my grandfather at the hospital because his condition is getting worse. As soon as we reached IJN my mom got a call from my auntie saying that my grandfather had just passed away. We hurried towards his room and as soon as I stepped inside the room, tears started to run down my face as I saw my grandfather lying on his deathbed. A part of me was sad to lose him just like that, but another part of me was actually relieved to see his suffering finally ended. I wish I could have spent more time with him during his last few moments though. I guess that is the end. Final words from me to you, I LOVE YOU ATUK.
